Benefits of membership summary

If you’re a self catering owner, a local self-catering association, or a self-catering accommodation agency you should be a member of The Holiday Home Association.

The benefits of membership fall into two sections:


Together we’re a stronger voice for the industry than any individual or business. Operating primarily in England, We work to represent you, further your long-term interests, and influence policy decisions that are made by a variety of government and non-government organisations. This is long-term work, the benefits of what we do today may not be realised for several years. Join The HHA to help us to help you.


We provide information to help you run your business. It is hard to know all the laws, policies, and issues that affect a business and we tell you about changes to the landscape that are coming up and those that you need to know about. Mainly this is done through a monthly newsletter sent to all members. We also provide:

  • A free legal telephone helpline
  • A dispute resolution service
  • Additional resources on the members’ pages of this website
  • Someone to talk to if you have a problem!
